About us

Our story

From small gallery jobs to full live productions

The idea behind the company was practical. Too many live shows treat the gallery as an afterthought, with switching, replay and streaming handled by separate suppliers who meet for the first time on the day. We wanted one crew that plans together and works together from rehearsal onwards.

Over the years that has meant concerts, festivals and stage events of different sizes, each with its own layout and its own limits. We learned to read a venue quickly, decide where the control room fits, and design a signal flow that suits the cameras and the people who will operate them.

Oliver Hartley leads the gallery as technical director. Priya Nair cuts the shows as lead vision mixer, Tom Fenwick looks after the streaming chain, and Hannah Whitlock plans schedules, crew and kit so every job arrives on site ready to go live.

Alongside live work we teach. Practical sessions let your own team handle a switcher and control room with confidence, which suits organisers who produce regular shows and want to build their own capability rather than hire in every time.

We stay deliberately close to the work we do well: multi-camera vision mixing, replay, technical direction and live streaming. That focus keeps the team small, the communication direct, and every production in the hands of people who have done it before.

How it works

From first call to final transmission

Every production follows the same path, whatever its size. We start by understanding your show, then prepare, rehearse and run it, so the live broadcast is the calmest part of the project.

  1. First conversation

You tell us about the event, the venue, the date and what you want viewers to see. We ask about cameras, sources and any platform you are streaming to, and note what you already have.

  2. Planning and quotation

We draft the camera plan, signal flow and crew list, and send a written quotation. Hannah schedules kit and people so everything is booked against the same running order.

  3. Setup and rigging

The control room is built on site or at the venue's chosen space. Cabling is run and labelled, monitors and intercom are tested, and every source is checked before rehearsal.

  4. Rehearsal

We run the show with your performers and camera operators, practising cuts, replay cues and graphics. Gaps in the plan are found here and fixed before the audience arrives.

  5. Live and handover

The technical director calls the show while the vision mixer and engineer deliver it. Afterwards we strike the room, return your venue to normal and agree any follow-up with you.

What guides our work

  1. Calm under pressure

Live shows move fast and sometimes go wrong. We keep a level voice on talkback, make decisions quickly and rely on fallbacks agreed beforehand, so the crew stays steady and the broadcast keeps going.

  2. Clear communication

We agree names, numbers and cue words before the show and keep intercom traffic brief. Clients hear from us early and plainly about changes, risks and what is needed from them.

  3. Careful preparation

Most of the result is settled before transmission. We study the running order, plan the signal flow, test and label the kit, and rehearse the cuts so the live show feels familiar.
