newsverto

A look at the kinds of productions we take on, from festival stages and concerts to streamed events, and the working choices behind each setup.

Selected work

Gallery scenes from recent productions

These scenes show the types of job we are booked for and how we set up the gallery for each. Every one started with a conversation about the venue, the cameras and what viewers needed to see.

  1. Festival main stage, multi-camera cut
  2. Concert hall control room rig
  3. Streamed conference with graphics
  4. Replay desk at a sports day
  5. Rehearsal day with the director
  6. Operator training on a switcher

Control room design and setup

This service suits venues and production companies that need a working gallery for a single event or a permanent install. We plan the space, choose the kit and rig everything so that it can be operated calmly by your crew or ours.

Control room design and setup
Space and power planning
We assess the room, the power supply and cable routes before choosing equipment. Good planning here avoids long cable runs and noisy equipment near the performance.
Desk and monitor layout
The vision mixer, monitor wall and talkback are arranged so each operator sees what they need. We keep the layout simple enough for a new person to follow.
Flight cases for touring
For temporary venues, we rig the gallery in flight cases that can be built and packed quickly. Each case is labelled and tested before it leaves us.
Testing before show day
Every signal path is tested, from camera to output, before the audience arrives. Faults found at this stage are fixed while there is still time.

Send floor plans or photographs of the room if you have them. Measurements of the space and details of the power supply help us plan accurately.

What organisers say about working with us

The gallery was built and tested before we opened the doors, and the cutting on the night matched what we had agreed in rehearsal. Our own team could follow what was going on through talkback, which made the whole evening calmer than we expected.
